This is an invitation to step out of the domestic cage and back into the wild. An invitation to experience a lifestyle and perfectly integrated system built upon principles that modern science is just beginning to understand, but Ancient wisdom has not forgotten. We offer you a stay in our Open Sanctuary—a beachfront temple intentionally left unfinished. This demanding path is undertaken with absolute joy, laughter, wisdom, and lightness, honoring the truth that the spiritual life is one of pure, unattached freedom.
The Conditions: Why Simplicity is Royalty
· The Architecture of Air: No separation from nature, no full walls, no running water, and no electricity. The wind is our barrier, the sun is our light, and the Caribbean Sea is our bath. We live in full alignment with the circadian rhythm (sun and moon).
· The Bed: We rest directly on the soft, electron-rich sand, fully grounded to the Earth. We sleep naked under a roof, covered only by pure cotton sheets and blankets.
· The Cleanse: We have abandoned soaps and shampoos. We scrub our skin with the sand, ashes, and clay and rinse in the salt water, experiencing a profound chemical detox. The visible result: beautiful hair and radiant skin that speaks to the vitality of this primal practice.
· The Digital Balance: To ensure total presence, we are disconnected from Wi-Fi. Access to data/internet is limited to certain, specific hours of the day to handle brief, essential communications only.

Shedding the Mind's Tunnel Vision
Your time with us is dedicated to the rigorous and loving pursuit of truth, facilitated through ancient and contemporary modalities that accelerate the dissolution of the ego's structure.
· The Foundation: Deep Meditation: As our most essential tool, daily profound meditation practices guides us past the mind’s old habits and patterns, allowing true transformation to take root.
· Elemental Practices: We engage in powerful Contrast Therapy (moving between giant copper cauldrons heated by a bonfire and cooled by ice). This is complemented by regular Temazcal Rituals (1-2 times per week), Intermittent Fasting protocols, Earthing, and Full Darkness at night for melatonin production. We honor life’s full spectrum, including dedicated moments to celebrate life and joyfully party (1-2 times weekly).
· Plant Medicine Ceremonies: Guided experiences designed to help us see beyond the mind’s tunnel vision, revealing pathways for profound healing.
· Somatic & Body Work & Subconscious Integration: Deep practices focused on releasing trauma and emotional blockages, including Conscious Connected Breathwork techniques. This also includes weekly Dream Work, often assisted with the traditional herb Calea Zacatechichi, to access and integrate the subconscious landscape.
· Ancestral & Sexual Healing: Methods like Psychomagic and Family Constellations, and workshops on Tantra/Sacred Sexuality to transform negative beliefs.
· The Art of Being: Daily engagement with creative outlets including singing, painting, dancing, and poetry.

1. The Comfort Test: At Eklum, we sleep directly on the soft, electron-rich sand, often naked, with no full walls between us and the wind. Which is it to you: a return to Royalty or a descent into poverty, and why?
2. The Silence Test: This is fundamentally an experience of disconnection, even with limited data access during certain hours. When the sun goes down, you are left alone with your thoughts in the dark. Does this prospect excite you or terrify you?
3. The Chemical Detox: We do not use shampoo, soap, or chemicals. We instead use sand, ashes, clay, and seawater. Are you willing to commit to this protocol for the duration of your stay, even if your hair or skin feels 'different' at first?
4. The Immersion Test: Our curriculum requires deep engagement with Daily Meditation, Plant Medicine ceremonies, Tantra/Sacred Sexuality work, and intensive Somatic healing. Describe your previous experience with high-intensity therapeutic modalities, and specifically, your emotional and psychological openness to engaging with these specific practices.
